Our drain field restoration service process and features include:

-Terralift (for rejuvenating systems)
Terra-lifting also referred to as soil shaking, can rejuvenate your septic system by breaking apart the bio-mat that is causing the drain field failure and fracturing the soil to enable a flow of water to saturate the ground once again. Terr lift is the key technology in this process. It uses a long, narrow probe and an integral pneumatic hammer to penetrate the soil to the depths of three to six feet – depending on the depth of your Drain field. It then forces air into the soil at a controllable rate using a high-pressure compressor creating a network of fissures and cracks which break up the bio-mat that has formed on the walls of trenches and Loosens compacted soil in the Drain field as shown. Because air tends to follow the path of least resistance, the air will move horizontally and vertically upward through the soil. This process is repeated every four feet (depending on the soil conditions) around each of the Drain field trenches.
Once the septic tank was completely pumped we proceeded to pressure clean the tank on both sides and cleaned the baffle with the pressure cleaner. We then re-installed the baffle the correct way and installed the manhole covers with new hardware. We replaced the dirt covering the system and re-installed the sod. We leave the site cleaner than when we arrived. No mess!
